On 19th, Feb 2022, Vibroflotation stone column construction for Kamaphuli river tunnel S2 stage in Bangladesh Chittagong port has been completed after 3 months constructing period.
卡纳普里河底隧道位于孟加拉国的吉大港的卡纳普里河入海口,本项目处于入海口冲积三角洲区域,地层基本上为第四系冲积覆盖层,属于易地震地带。
The Tunnel under the Kanapuri River is located at the mouth of the Kanapuri River in Chittagong, Bangladesh. The project is located in the alluvial delta area of the estuary. The stratum is basically quaternary alluvial overburden, which belongs to the earthquake-prone zone.
采用振冲法处理完的地基,振动会使土壤颗粒重新排列,快速消散超空隙水压力,碎石桩形成排水通道,大大提高地基的抗液化能力。施工期间,恰巧出现的6.2级的地震更加突显了振冲法处理地基的抗液化性能。
The soil particles can be rearranged by vibration, the excess void water pressure can be dissipated quickly, and the gravel pile can form a drainage channel, which greatly improves the anti-liquefaction ability of the foundation. The anti-liquefaction performance of vibroflotation treated foundation was further highlighted by the occurrence of a magnitude 6.2 earthquake during construction.
